Latin name: Radix Bupleuri

Chemical composition: Containing volatile oil of Bupleurum; 2-Methyl cyclopentaone, Limonene,Myrcene,Trans-tarved carveol,Pulegone,Myrtenol,α-Terpineol,Linalool,α-Cubebene,Trans-caryophyllene,Longi- folene,Nootkatone,Hexahydrofarnesylacetone,Hexade- canoic acid,Pentanic acid,Caproic acid,Heptylic acid,Caprylic acid,Pelargonic acid,2-Heptenic acid,2-Octenic acid,2- Nonenic acid,Phenol,O- Methoxy phenol,Methyl phenol,Ethyl phenol,Thymol,γ- Heptalactone,γ-Decalac- tone,Messoia lactone,Vanillin acetate.

Indications function:  reconciliation table, soothing liver, invigorating splenic yang. For cold and fever, chills and fever, chest pain, irregular menstruation, uterine prolapse, anal prolapse.
